WEST SEDONA

Head West

Red Rock State Park: There are hiking trails including the one to “The House of Apache Fire”.

Boynton Canyon: This hike is particularly beautiful in the fall & summer.

Doe Mountain: In only .7 miles you reach the top of a flat mountain with great panoramic views of the area.

Bear Mountain: One of the best hikes in the area, but not for the faint of heart. Take lots of water and some food.

State Route 89A

Oak Creek Canyon: t has been suggested that the Oak Creek Canyon is one of the top 8 Scenic drives is the U.S.

Slide Rock State Park: A natural water slide in Oak Creek Canyon.

West Fork: This hike is particularly beautiful in the fall and summer.

HIGHWAY 179

The Red Rock Scenic Byway

Bell Rock: Located on the East side of highway 179 is one of the best known red rock formations and one of the most climbed on and fallen off of. It is located near the highway where there is also a new hiking trail called Bell Rock Pathways

Munds Wagon Trail: Hiking trail on a historic cattle route close to the Mitten Ridge & Merry-Go-Round rock formations.
